MY STORY

Hi my name is Lucy Shi. I was born in Australia but my background is Chinese which means I can speak both fluent Mandarin & English. Graduating from UNSW with a Bachelor in Design / Media (Public Relations and Advertising). I am a driven, passionate, and engaging individual who is hardworking and has a flair for all things creative.

My biggest strength is my ability to adapt to any professional working environment. I truly believe in team work and harnessing everyone’s unique strengths in order to produce the best work possible. Collaboration is key to overcoming any potential challenges we may face when it comes to innovative project endeavours.

MY EXPERIENCE

1. INTERNSHIP AT UNSW IMMERSIVE TECHNOLOGIES - Kensington, NSW

GRAPHICS/ UX DESIGN PLACEMENT

(February 2023 - November 2023)

-Finished a UX Design Internship Placement and helped design/ develop a 'Race to the south pole' leadership VR simulation game for the UNSW Canberra Business School (Main Client)

2. INTERNSHIP AT MAX MEDIA LAB STUDIO- Alexandria, NSW

GRAPHICS/ SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING INTERNSHIP (September 2023 - November 2023)

-At MAXMEDIA LAB, I helped the marketing team boost digital engagement on social media platforms for companies like Penfolds, Thursday Plantation and Thompson's Herbals. By developing original campaigns, that had fun trendy and eye-catching graphics. I was able to entice, appeal and target young millennials/ and gen z consumers more effectively. Thus enabling MAX MEDIA LAB as a luxury brand agency to fulfil their clients wishes. In terms of expanding their company's presence online and boosting brand engagement with the youths of Australia.
